I take weather and your safety VERY seriously at JKF and I am committed to providing the best service on the lake. With this comes our weather policy. High Winds/Storm Cells can make conditions unsafe and make fishing tough.

Due to the open and unprotected waters on the lakes(Cameron especially). We have to closely watch the weather to ensure a safe trip. Cancellations will be at my discretion. We often make the call about safe conditions the day before the trip before noon. If you need more notice about weather conditions that may affect our fishing date due to accommodations/flights/travel time.. etc please let me know in advance.

IF YOUR TRIP MUST BE CANCELED DUE TO BAD WEATHER CONDITIONS YOU WILL BE GIVEN THE OPTION TO REBOOK THE TRIP TO THE NEXT BEST DATE OR RECEIVE A REFUND OF THE DEPOSIT. 

IF WE ARE ON THE WATER AND BAD WEATHER OR WINDS FORCE US TO GET OFF THE WATER EARLY YOU WILL BE GIVEN THE OPTION TO HAVE A PARTIAL REFUND FOR THE HOURS MISSED OR YOU WILL BE OFFERED A SECOND TRIP AFTER PAYING IN FULL FOR YOUR FIRST CURRENT TRIP. OFFERED TRIPS IN THIS CASE HAVE NO REFUND/ DEPOSIT AND ARE BASED ON THE DISCUSSED TERMS.
