We support catch and release Musky fishing 100% and any Musky we catch will be released to fight another day. We can take proper photos and measurements which will allow you to get a replica made.
What is the best time of year?
The best time of year for Musky fishing is all year around. Musky fishing can be tough but absolutely rewarding. Summer can produce large fish as well as good numbers. I’ve had sub double digit days with a few big pike as kickers. Falls is when the fish start to put the winter weight on and feed. So it can be a great time to catch a trophy.
What lures or bait will we be using?
We will be using a combination of Bucktails, Crank/Jerk baits and Rubber. The goal everyday is to hone into a pattern the fish want and effectively put it in front of them. Varying then reeling speed and action you give the lures can change the day in a heartbeat.
